His desire to deliver the highest standard of care to his patients, lead him to become certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and to seek his Diplomate status. So he is Board Certified by the American Board of Periodontology. His professional passions are in the surgical regenerative field of dentistry which combines Minimally Invasive Reconstructive Oral SurgeryTM using PIEZOSURGERY, Dental Implants, and IV sedation (Sleep Dentistry) which gives patients a broader selection in their care and comfort.Dr Khoury is the senior editor of the national journal Implant Periodontics AlertTM, and is Director of DDS Implant Study Club. Furthermore, his contributions to research so far include several publications, ranging from dental implants to periodontal disease and oral cancer.
Dr. Khoury has many affiliations such as the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the Academy of Osseointegration and the Delaware Valley Academy of Osseointegration.
Dr. Khoury’s moved his practice from Dallas to Philadelphia where he lives with his wife and daughters. He enjoys skiing and soccer. With an experienced team behind him, Dr. Khoury is dedicated to listening and understanding to each patient’s needs and concerns, and with his expertise in IV Sedation he seeks to bring to his patients Peace of Mind because “Peace of Mind is Priceless.

Lu Mungcal- Office manager
Lu graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts, and has been in the field of dentistry for over 20 years. She started her career as a dental assistant in New York, but her experience throughout the years has taken her from assisting to office management in New York, New Jersey, and now in Pennsylvania. Lu is the key person responsible for keeping the office running smoothly. She loves working with patients, and is eager to help with concerns regarding appointments, insurance and financing. She lives with her husband, three children and their pet dog, Maxie.
Markita M. -Surgical/Sedation Assistant
Markita graduated from the EFDA program in December 2010. She has 2+ years experience in the dental field. Previously, worked with at risk children, and teens mostly. In her spare time, she still mentors and spends time with them.
She loves spending time with her family and husband, going to the movies every week. She is a huge Eagles fan, and likes to read books, and write them. She also started her own baking company (Valentines day). On her spare time, she also bakes and plan parties.
Most importantly, she is a people person, a little shy at first, and likes to try and learn new things.
Bevirly K.-Surgical/Sedation Assistant
Formally a band singer originally from the Philippines, Bevirly moved to the United States in 2010. While exploring numerous possible career paths, she decided Dental Assisting was the one for her. After attending Dental Assistant Training at Everest Institute in Pennsylvania, Bevirly graduated at the very top of her class and was elected into the National Technical Honor Society for her stellar scholastic performance. Along with providing chair-side assistance for Dr. Khoury during patient procedures in the office, she also operates the dental x-ray equipment and ensures proper sanitation of all instruments, materials and work areas. Bevirly possesses an extraordinarily warm and welcoming personality which her patients invariably love and appreciate every time they visit. She resides with her husband, and their spoiled Maltese, Kewl.
